About DYNA DIVERSA

DYNA DIVERSA is an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership in higher education that aims to strengthen Diversity Management Skills (DMS) in higher education institutions through dialogue, skill exchange, training, and digital learning resources. The project brings together six partners from five EU countries to co-create practical, accessible, and transferable tools that support more inclusive learning environments.

The project is built around collaboration between universities and organisations with complementary expertise in higher education, inclusion, communication, digital learning, research, and dissemination. Its activities include local DMS dialogue events, a 3-day skill-swap event, a training strategy and curriculum, interactive modules, a learning quest, a digital platform, a DyDi app, and a comprehensive findings report.

DYNA DIVERSA is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+ and coordinated by Fundación Uxío Novoneyra, which leads project management and the overall implementation of WP1 and WP2. The project also includes a strong dissemination and sustainability plan to ensure long-term use of the results beyond the end of the grant period.

Objectives of DYNA DIVERSA

DYNA DIVERSA has three main objectives in its core work package on Diversity Management Skills, followed by training and digital implementation objectives that support the overall project goals.

  1. Facilitate in-depth dialogue among higher education professionals and students from diverse institutions to explore experiences, identify gaps in Diversity Management Skills, and discuss best practices, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Promote active participation and skill exchange through a 3-day Skill-Swap event that enables professionals to share innovative approaches and strengthen mutual learning across institutions.
  3. Synthesize findings and recommendations from the dialogue events and skill-swap activities into a comprehensive assessment report that maps the current DMS landscape in higher education.
  4. Define the training strategy and curriculum foundations for the Dyna Diversa training programme, ensuring the content is structured around key thematic pillars such as inclusive teaching, cultural competence, intersectionality, learning outcomes, pedagogical approaches, and best practices.
  5. Develop interactive learning modules and the Learning Quest, transforming the training content into accessible e-learning materials that support professional development and practical application.
  6. Create and launch the digital platform and DyDi app, providing an accessible online environment where participants can access the training programme, engage with resources, and collaborate with peers.
  7. Ensure dissemination and sustainability, so that the project results continue to be used by partner organisations and wider stakeholders after the project ends.

Why DYNA DIVERSA is needed

Higher education institutions are increasingly expected to create inclusive learning environments for students and staff with different backgrounds, needs, and experiences. However, many institutions still face gaps in Diversity Management Skills, including limited practical tools, fragmented knowledge, and uneven access to inclusive approaches.

DYNA DIVERSA responds to this need by combining dialogue, skill exchange, and training with digital resources that can be used across different contexts. The project is designed to help higher education professionals better understand barriers to inclusion and develop concrete ways to improve support services, teaching practices, and institutional culture.

The project also recognizes that inclusion is not only about policies, but also about everyday practice. For this reason, DYNA DIVERSA focuses on practical learning, peer exchange, and digital tools that can be reused and adapted by institutions and stakeholders beyond the partnership.

The project also recognizes that inclusion is not only about policies, but also about everyday practice. For this reason, DYNA DIVERSA focuses on practical learning, peer exchange, and digital tools that can be reused and adapted by institutions and stakeholders beyond the partnership.

Who DYNA DIVERSA is for

DYNA DIVERSA primarily targets higher education professionals such as lecturers, trainers, faculty members, student support staff, and diversity or inclusion officers. These are the people who directly shape learning environments and can apply the project results in daily practice.

The project also involves students, especially in the dialogue activities, because their perspectives are essential for understanding real barriers and opportunities in higher education. Their input helps ensure that the project reflects lived experience and does not remain limited to institutional perspectives.

A second layer of beneficiaries includes universities, NGOs, educators, policymakers, local communities, youth organisations, and the wider public, who will access the project’s open resources, events, newsletters, and digital tools. In the long term, these groups will benefit from improved access to inclusive practices and shared knowledge.

What DYNA DIVERSA will produce

The project will generate a set of concrete and practical results that support inclusion and diversity in higher education.

Main results include:

  • DMS Gaps Challenges Dialogue reports from local events in partner countries.
  • A 3-day Skill-Swap event report with good practice exchanges and expert insights.
  • A Findings Synthesis Recommendations report combining the results of the dialogues and skill-swap event into a comprehensive landscape analysis.
  • A Dyna Diversa training strategy and curriculum model built around the project’s thematic pillars.
  • Interactive training modules and scenario-based content on DMS.
  • A Learning Quest in e-learning format, integrated into the project’s digital spaces.
  • An online educational platform and DyDi app for hosting and accessing the learning materials.
  • Dissemination outputs such as newsletters, social media content, and open-access materials.

These results are expected to strengthen the capacities of higher education professionals, improve access to inclusive learning resources, and create a lasting European network around diversity management.

How DYNA DIVERSA is organised

DYNA DIVERSA is structured into four main content work packages plus management and dissemination, each one contributing to the overall goal of strengthening Diversity Management Skills in higher education.

 WP1 – Project Management
Coordinates the overall implementation, quality control, communication, reporting, financial management, and risk management of the project.

WP2 – Diversity Management Skills in HEIs Gaps & Swaps
Includes the local DMS dialogue events, the 3-day Skill-Swap exchange of good practices, and the synthesis report that brings together findings and recommendations.

WP3 – Dyna Diversa Training Program Development

The Dyna Diversa training programme

The Dyna Diversa training programme is designed to equip higher education professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to work more effectively in diverse learning environments. It is based on the insights gathered from the DMS dialogue activities and the Skill-Swap event, so the training responds to real needs identified by the partners and participants.

The curriculum is built around key thematic pillars:

  • Inclusive teaching and learning.
  • Cultural competence.
  • Intersectionality in education.
  • Content definition.
  • Learning outcomes definition.
  • Pedagogical approaches.
  • Best practices.

The programme will include interactive modules and scenario-based learning, helping participants reflect on real challenges and apply what they learn in practice. It will later be transformed into a MOOC-style Learning Quest, making it more accessible and scalable for a wider audience.

The Dyna Diversa platform

The Dyna Diversa digital platform will be the main access point for the project’s online learning resources, tools, and updates. It is designed to be user-friendly, accessible, and useful for higher education professionals and other stakeholders interested in inclusion and diversity.

Through the platform, users will be able to access the Learning Quest, training materials, project results, and other resources produced during the project. The platform is also expected to support interaction and peer learning through user engagement features such as discussion spaces and collaborative elements.

The platform will be developed with accessibility in mind, including responsive design and compliance with accessibility standards, so that it can be used by people with different needs and devices. It will also serve as a long-term home for the project’s public results after the launch phase.

The DyDi app

The DyDi app is the mobile companion to the Dyna Diversa platform and will make the project’s learning content easier to access on different devices. It is intended to support flexible learning, quick navigation, and wider engagement with the project’s resources.

The app will host or connect users to the Learning Quest and related digital content, while also supporting a clearer and more intuitive learning experience. Like the platform, it will be developed with accessibility, usability, and engagement in mind.

The app is part of the project’s effort to combine physical activities with digital learning methods, making the results more usable across institutions and more relevant for a wider audience.

Sharing DYNA DIVERSA results

DYNA DIVERSA will share its results through a mix of online and offline dissemination actions, including the website, newsletters, social media, local events, conferences, printed materials, and partner networks. The project’s communication plan is designed to reach direct beneficiaries such as higher education professionals, as well as wider audiences including students, NGOs, policymakers, and local communities.

The website will act as the main hub for project goals, team information, stakeholder engagement, resources, and updates. Newsletters will not be isolated documents, but will link directly to relevant website sections such as the project overview, partnership, resources, events, and digital tools.

The project also aims to build a sustainable stakeholder network by encouraging subscriptions, follow-up contact, and future cooperation among organisations interested in diversity and inclusion. This will help increase long-term impact and support future collaboration beyond the project timeline.
